Thinking of becoming a Licensed Mortgage Agent? Your first step is to complete the Mortgage Agent Licensing Course, which the Financial Services Commission of Ontario has approved. Your next step is to be hired by a brokerage as a licensed mortgage agent.
The Financial Services Commission of Ontario (FSCO) has approved three program providers (colleges/institutions) for mortgage agent education programs for licensing purposes. The programs are provided commercially, and each provider sets tuition fees. All of these programs were developed using the same curriculum.
This Course is offered in different formats. However, these approved programs include a course of study followed by a final examination.
